I don't really know what to say, so i'll try to talk about some things I plan with this blog and a little bit about me. My plan is to talk about my investments, my path towards a life where I won't need to work to fullfill my needs and also talk about random thoughts I may have.
I'm 18 years old, brazilian, I live in Rio de Janeiro and i'm studying at the university. I still live with my parents, it's a really common thing here, some people just leave their parents home when they are going to marry, but I do plan to leave it and for that I'll need to be working and with a nice paycheck, because rents here are the most expensive in Brazil. :(
My family is a middle class family in Brazil, for many we would be considered upper middle class, but we are not that rich. My parents have some apartments and because I've got us a teanant for the only apartment that was empty, i'm going to receive R$1000(kind of 300 dollars) until the person decides to leave. I've asked my parents that if I found us a tenant i could have this money, they didn't thought i would be able to, because they've been trying to find for 3 months, so it was a win-win situation. About my financial plans, I'm planning to invest in stocks here in Brazil and around the world, but at least for a year I think I'll focus more here, specially because I think dollar is very appreciated against brazilian real. I will talk more about stocks in my next post.
